Rx8 stalls and has low power :( help!

Hey guys, I have a 2004 rx8, manual 6 speed, with about 78,500 miles.
I've been having some problems with it, it all started one night after it rained hard in my city. The next day I was driving, the check engine came on and I could not accelerate past 3-4k rpms. I got it checked and they said it could be the MAF sensor, I go it cleaned and that seemed to fix the issue because it didnt happen again. Everything was fine up until 2 days ago.

But this time, the problem is worse. And again, it started after it rained. Now, I turn on my car, and the rpms fall under 1k and it starts to shake, and if I dont accelerate it, the car stalls. This happens while I was at work so I still had to drive it home. On the way home, the check engine light started to flash, the car started to kick and jerk, and I felt very little power when accelerating, and the exhaust was making a loud noise, it kinda sounded like if it had an aftermarket exhaust, but it's stock. Also, as I was diving, it started to smell like burnt rubber or something.

I've also noticed that I've been having to add more coolant to the car around every 2 months, is that normal? or can that be one of the problems?

So, anyone know what might be the issue? or what I can do to check it? and is it a coinsidence that my car starts acting up after it rains, or is it a weather related problem?

Thanks

I bought the car about 10 months ago, and I haven't replaced them since I got it, and I honestly don't know when the previous owner replaced them. Can that be the problem?
