Hey guys, I've searched a good bit, but haven't found anyone who's answered this question.

To start, I have a completely unmodified '04 MT with ~62k mi. To my knowledge, ignition, plugs and wires were replaced shortly before I purchased the car at 38k mi.

Car starts fine, but runs like crap for about 5 - 30 seconds. The longer the car is parked, the longer the rough idle. When I let it sit for a whole weekend, it will run so badly that the CEL light will start flashing indicating misfire.

Nothing unusual about the performance car other than those first few seconds after starting, and even then, no smoke or anything that I've noticed beyond regular condensate.

My guess is coolant leaking into the rotor housing. I am guessing this because I am definitely losing coolant (I can hear it 'slosh' when I start it occasionally- don't worry, I've added more) I will occasionally smell coolant through the vents with the heat on - but I chalked this up to a leak in the heater core somewhere.

The other reason I'm thinking its a coolant leak is because it gets worse the longer the car is parked - which suggests that it is something that builds up over time.

It's getting worse now though - I used to only notice it when it was parked for the weekend, now it's happening every morning. That may be an effect of cooler temperatures lately though, exacerbating the problem with the higher idle on starting.

Any ideas before I take it to the dealer?
