rx8 wont start when it tries to turn engine ticks then loud boom from intake

this is my first rotary engine it has 77,000. i tried to deflood the engine using the procedure.but still wont start when it tries to start i get that loud thump from the intake. Any help whould be usesfull thank you all in advance

it cranks engine turns but doesnt start when it tries to start a loud boom comes out of the intake
