replacement ECU module

Hi, all!

my rx-8 from jdm.
it start when i replace my ecu module and now on panel light on DSC and ABS, and its not working?

i cant get as-built file for my ecu because dont have vin number, only CHASIS NUMBER

What i should do to turn of dsc and abs lights?

ABS and DSC lights will be on after you disconnect the battery. Turn the steering wheel all the way both ways and the next time you start the car, they should go away.

If they don't go away, your new ECU might not be playing nice with the ABS module. What was the old ECU and new ECU? Why was it replaced?

old ecu still work perfectly if i place it

but new ecu from R-Magic tuners.

FORScan show c1805 error

Ah. Well there's your problem
The code is telling you that the ECU and ABS module need to be coded together. I haven't done this myself but any Mazda dealer should be able to. It doesn't require as-built data.

do not advise anything on this forum, your level of knowledge is approximately 0%

i take elm327 scanner and forscan 2.3.33, download AS-Build file for my ECU, and program it in ABS module. that's all. all worlking perfectly now without error.

well if I’m interpreting that correctly, then whatever software programming R-Magic did is gone and now back to a factory calibration.
