Have you had the code read?
Coils and plugs should be checked and changed at the same time, as the breakdown of one will affect the other.
First thing to do is get the CEL code read!

Check to make sure all of your leads, coils and wires are seated properly.
Most likely, it is a failing/failed coil. You can check those with a coil tester. Or, you can purchase 4 new coils and install.

yes, looking at the engine, the coils are to the right. Follow the wires to the leads.

^Many people get that feeling.
The RX8 is like a guy/girl relationship- if you don't respect/understand it's wants and needs, tempers flare and the door may hit ones *** on the way out
