Problems with Recall

Anyone have any prolems with the fuel recall?

My temp gauge is working differently.

It use to be on the last line of cold and then moved up.

Now she sits way below the last line, like it's broken.

Finally after a long period of time it moves up.

I just came back from dealer recall peak and flash. My dealer has not seen a problem and does not have ball joints in stock anyway. Who spends a lot of time reving engine at idle? I think they might have put a mat in for this. My engine seems to be smoother running, it was good before, and better now. I have 13,500 trouble free miles on my car. I will watch for possible better gas mileage now. I get 19.5 now with city and highway driving. I also do know that this is just like a Corvette Z-6. I have a little less than the vettes 505HP. though.

Thumbs down

Why waste your time when they put pad on 100% of the time? I had to travel 40 miles to the dealer. It takes 2 hours and would not have been pleased if they told me to come back,

Had the recall work done today including the R flash. Since I have the turbo, I was a little worried after seeing some of the posts. Car runs fine with R flash. It seems to be running a little richer at higher RPM once turbo kicks in. Although I have an AEM wide band A/F meter it only registers to 11 and once turbo kicks in the numbers are definitely below because the meter goes blank (---) no reading. The idle seems to be smoother, less bounce into lean numbers. At idle the A/F keeps fairly constant between 15.1 - 15.6

Took mine in on wednesday for its first oil change and the gas tank recall....I told them I had a rough idle....they changed the oil, did the recall and said they flashed the ECU...when I asked the tech which flash it was he couldnt give me a direct answer... :D ...he claims that after the M flash that they dont give them lettered designations....I rarely ever believe what the dealer says....
It does seem to run smoother now...but I noticed a strange thing yesterday afternoon when I got in the car to go back to work.....it was a beautiful day out, temps were ranging in the mid 80s.....when I started the car up the amb temp read 101 degrees.....its never done that even when it sat in the sun with 98 temps for hours....it gradually when down after I drove it for a couple of blocks...
anyones thoughts?

Thought: Dark-colored car oriented so that the suns rays were perpendicular to the front section of the car where the sensor is located, thereby generating maximum heat through the conversion of light to heat.
