Problem with VFAD (HELP!!)

I last night put in my racing beat intake with the ram air duct. I put in everything correct and the only problem I had was with the VFAD, I was taking everything out and it was all good until I got to the Little hose under the throttle body. I worked on it gently and even put a tad bit of lube to see if it would come off and it didn't. It finally just broke. I am not sure if this is the problem causing my CEL light to come on but I was just seeing if there was anything I could do to fix the broken peice. The actual tip is still stuck in the hose. Sorry if this was a little confusing and I did a search and couldn't find anything, so any help would be great ......Thanx guys.

Not sure which piece you broke but so long as you have blocked the vacuum hose that used to go to the vfad you should be OK .

You broke the nipple off? That would cause a cell. If so, your gonna need to replace that part or run a screw in it/glue it closed or something, try to just splice the hose and glue it back in place.

Same thing happened to me, you need to plug up the hole. I put a screw in it. It looks a little ghetto, but it works!!

I got it I went to an autozone and bought some Dr. Bond super glue, and then glued the red cap that came with the kit and then glued the peice back on. This looks good stock like nothing happened and let me tell you this **** sticks.......I got it on my hand and I had to sit my hand in fingure nail polish remover for 30 mins......this works if anyone else has this problem....those GD hoses are on there so tight.....thanx guys I WAS FREAKIN OUT MAN!....
