Problem with acceleration in first gear w/AT

Is it just me or is anyone with the 2004 GT AT having trouble with accelration in first gear? It sort of hesitates a little before taking off. What does this mean? ANYONE???

Automatics are not direct drive that will happen. Check your trans fluid level though...
