So on the way home from work this evening, something happened with my car. Each stop I made at a redlight, it was noticably harder to put the car in gear. It was fairly gradual, being a little stiff for a bit, then worse and worse until it has to be jammed into the gear, which I'm sure isn't good for it. The higher the gear, the easier it was to shift to. My guess would be the clutch, right? I'm hoping it is, because the clutch is still under warranty from Mazda up to 100k miles, and I'm at 99,8xx. Honestly, I don't know enough about the car or cars in general to really do anything about it myself, but does this sound like a failed clutch? And could I have done much damage driving it home in this condition? I only drove about 10-15 miles when it was completely shot.
