hey all, need some advice bought an 04 rx8 about a year ago,

now heres the issue car was running on the old style starter motor and flooded.

Had to get the AA out and they got the car started but I believe they damaged the starter.

So cut a long story down, the car got to a point where it wouldnt start and the battery was dead I believe that the damaged starter motor must of shorted out the battery.

I changed the starter motor to a new motor and jump started the car fired up first time

untill I tried to move it and noticed the steering heavy and the power steering light was on.

I have been told that you may have to reset the power steering system but have looked inline and cant seem to find anywhere that tells you the process.

Any ideas would be great as am totally gutted that the beast is sat on my drive and rusting boo hoo.

Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left. Do this will the ignition is on but the car not started.
