Overheating only when in the sun! :Wconfused Help!

Found the thread.

I can't seem to find the diagram that mentions the S1 after cooling temp was 226F. Will keep looking.

Did you ever think about replacing your ect sensor? Just in case its not working right.

No I haven't. But it works fine. This only happens when the sun is up.

It was early tech information. It's possible that Mazda changed some of the setpoints etc in later flashes. Just noticed that when I look at the PDF on my iPwn that I can't see any of the colored flowpaths in the relay wiring diagram, so I'll make some JPEG images to go with that too.

Lol yes. When the car is under the sun, the coolant temp keeps rising.

It turns into a werewolf!!

Lol jk. At night the coolant is fine. Idles at 200F. When I'm moving it's around 206F

Yes, possible. And yes, I didn't see any of the colored stuff when I checked it from my iPhone too.

The Engine compartment temperature sensor is only on S2s. It's mentioned in the link I posted earlier.

So for our S1's fans to stay on after shutting the car, the coolant temp has to be over 230F? So everytime someone comes on here and goes "my fans stay on after I turn off the car" their coolant is over 230F?
