OBD II Questions

Hi,

I have an 04 NA Manual RX8. I was looking at some OBD II data I grabbed a few weeks ago and some values look off. Is there a thread or site where people have posted their OBD II data on a properly running car.

I ask because my values for SAE.CATEMP11, which looks like my cat temperature monitor is giving values over 950 degrees Celsius. Anybody known a normal range for that?

Thanks.

In my experience..................
~732C to ~765C or so at what I will call idle.
~850C to ~926C is not unheard of when driving and/or pushing the car hard.
You do sound a little high IMO, so what exact reader are you using to monitor or read this and when?

Keep in mind tha the ODBII simply monitors the heater circuit for the o2 sensor, so it's not really accurate in most peoples opinion.

I'm not even sure what the log was from. Probably driving home from work. I was logging using a Kiwi Wifi Device and Scan XL Pro.
