After searching and searching and coming up with nothing that could solve my credit card keys battery issue, I found the problem and a simple effective fix! I kept having the key light on my RX8 flash and my key seemed to be less responsive, so I thought the battery was dieing and replaced it with the 2025 but no dice. The keys little red light would flash sometimes or not at all, this causing great confusion on my part. Well inside the battery slot there are two metal pieces that allow the current from the battery to flow and the transmitter to work. I noticed that the silver piece off the side wasn't touching the battery, so it would seem the battery was low on juice or the key didn't work. I pushed the battery back in and with a hobby knife or anything small and narrow I pressed the metal side against the battery and TADA! It worked like a charm! Well I tried to bend the piece to catch the side of the battery to keep contact but that didn't work since it is pretty flimsy. Well I just cut a small narrow piece of cardboard and slid it along side the outside part of the key in the battery terminal, which pushed the battery against the metal side and no it works like new! Hope this helps someone! Could already be on here, but I wasn't able to find a fix like this so thought I would share!
