no power steering codes.
my power steering turns hard, so I turn it harder and then it goes easy and then hard again. same thing happens turning the wheel the other direction. There is now light on the dash and no trouble codes detected. I cleaned all the connectors, soldered the torque sensor wires together under air cleaner, checked the torque tensor ohm readings (there correct) I reset the system by turning steering wheel from right to left with the key on and engine not running, pressed the brake pedal 20 times quick with key in run position. Nothing seams to help. Do you think resetting the sytem neutral setting would help? and do I have to take it to a dealership to do that? Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the replies, lol. Just to let you know my fix so far was to replace the wire from the control module to the torque sensor. The problem wasn't fixed wright away, but after driving for a couple days the steering started working on its own. not sure if what i changed fixed the problem or not, but it works now.
