My rx8 are 2005 and my eps problems occurs only when the eng temp is cold....
When hot there almost no problems at all

the probles is when i turn it into right by sudden when cold...
The steering "skipped" and rattle alot when i gently hold it to right...
When the temp is normal.... All fine...
There will be still slight problems though during normal temp but almost u cant feel it when u driving normal,,,,

please do help
i did clean all the conectors and do eps resetting there are major improvement than before.... Becos before i did all reset and cleaning the prob occurs even when the engine is normal temp or hot

Clean again and put dielectric grease.

 

By "cleaned all", did you clean the ground and the connection on the solenoid itself(not the wiring that's on the radiator fan)?

which ground u mean?

I did cleaned all again yesterday....
but my problem is when the eng temp is cool or below normal operating temp....
why would that happen....
