sounds like a plug might of been damaged or a wire was fried or even a coil.

when i had a misfire i needed new coils and relpaced them with the BHR ignition kit.

my friend said he went to the dealership cuz they were cheapest there but prices have changed. so it should be about 175 or more. if you can afford it go with the BHR kit. best investment i made.

if you get the new stock coils i suggest you install them yourself. saves you money and it will take less then an hour to get it done. theres a DIY in here if you search it.

Order the coils from advance auto. I just got mine from there a few weeks ago. They're about $25 a piece. Do the same with wires, although I dunno how much those cost. Where exactly do you live, I'm probably pretty close to you?

you may also want to get the code read at an autozone or somewhere, just to be sure. It's free there

First thing to do is to read code. Reset the ECU to clear the code.

Then see if it it comes back.

Repeat again.

After having the same problem 3 times you know that you will have to fix it

Remember... having the wrong plugs in there can make it build up extra fuel and residue. That's probably what is causing your car to misfire.

Yeah I stay on ten mile and gratiot eastside of detroit about yeah autozone had the coils for 25 each but can't get the wires? go figure. And i usually try and do everything myself cus you just can't trust some mechanics now a days i got the error code 300 and then it misfired again when i was at about 6.25 k rpms in 2nd a/t mode bu i wasn't gunning it. but i haven't felt a misfire again so i have to wait to get paid next week before i can do anything sadly and yeah the wrong spark plug BS really pissed me off frickin dealership I love my new car its just costing me more than i can afford right out the gate. We're not that far away. If you need any help with anything let me know. PM me and I can either talk you through it (if it's something I know how to do) or meet up with you and help you out.
