My redline is at an indicated 8,500 THROUGH 9,000.

It's more of a red band.

I have always take the redline to be when the engine cuts out. A the actual redline on the tach doesn't really mean anything other then a visual indication usually just below the engine cut off.
1. I think you were out of line having a go at me.
2. I have not deleted any threads.
3. No one had responded to the OP so I tried to offer a little help, giving no facts or advice.

can i have a go? i have had my 8 at an indicated RPM of over 10,000. no kidding. pegged the meter past the end of the dial. That's not a missed down shift or something. Thats thanks to the RB Flash
