You should be just fine! Don't worry about it, I had to do the same thing(I think?) a few years ago when putting mine in.

Do you have enough room to put a rebound adjuster on the dampers? My stock strut bar is in the way.

Thats the reason why those bolts are there.

You might be missing my question. I have KW3s with rebound adjusters. The stock strut bars shroud that area so I can't get the adjuster handle on the adjuster. I can barely turn them with a needle nose pliers. If the MS tie bar has more open area directly above the adjuster, it will be easy to adjust the dampers. sigh

There are differing levels of mechanical aptitude. What might be apparent to you or I isn't so obvious to someone else. He had something he wasn't sure about and had enough sense to ask the question of those with more knowledge.

We all have to start somewhere...

Don't quote me on this one, but from what I have read and seen of the MS bar, there is enough room to get to an adjuster. It mounts up higher than the stock bar.
