Lower thermostat housing help

Hi everybody, let me clearly explain this before I write my post.
I searched. Searched. Searched. Looked through the workshop manual and searched some more. Maybe Im just terrible at it but-

I need the lower thermostat housing diagram.
I was following the DIY for the removal of the SSV to clean it out. What a pia.
This is the most in depth car work I've ever done. Before that the most Id ever do was change brake pads, oil changes and basic maintenance. I've decided to attempt this due to the misfire code I kept getting past 7500rpm, and I got in there with success a hammer and a flathead. : )

So now. As I put everything back together Ive reconnected my battery and decide to finally plug up the bottom of my radiator and attempt to fill up.

So now there's crazy splashing noises from the side where the thermostat is coming from.
Before anyone asks yes, I've verified that every hose has no crack in it and that I fit them all back on tightly with the clips.

I need the diagram cause I wanna see how much I actually need to torque the bolts to and if I actually got every nut and bolt and didnt forget any. : (

Or if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening and what I might've done wrong.

Thanks for the help anyone.

P.S. Jon316g if you read this post thanks for the wonderful write up

in the service manual it's considered part of the engine rather than cooling system so there is not really much shown on it, not even in the engine rebuild manual either, the parts manual diagram is attached

basically the t-stat removal steps plus disconnecting all the cooling system hoses, then there are three bolts that secure it to the side of the front cover; two on the forward engine side at the top and bottom corner and one on the rear engine side in the center, ideally it should get a new gasket for where it mounts to the cover

the one thing you have to be VERY careful with is the support brace for the four OMP distribution lines is held in place by one of the three mounting bolts, the plastic lines can become brittle with age/heat and be broken if mishandled

Your the bomb. Yeah I ended up figuring out what I messed up on and Im glad you brought it up. When I was putting everything back together I had put that exact same support brace you mentioned between the lower housing and the core instead of bolt > brace > thermostat > core.

I was lacking alot of sleep when putting everything back together.
Thanks mate much appreciated for the help.
