LEDs caused ABS and TCS failiures
well after installing LED lights for the tailights... it triggered a slew of lights.. disabling the ABS TCS and etc..
after a week of diagnosing they figured that the LED bulbs were causing voltage spikes and therefore did not cover the "repair" under warranty.
spent 18hrs on the car replacing ABS modules and reflashing the ECU...
had to pay 5 of those hours and got the starter replaced under warranty (flooded the engine while in the shop) .. love the new starter...
anyways, a word of warning...if any of you were thinking of purchasing them..i guess my ECU is extra sensitive..kinda sux though..

Wow that was a lot of time spent for such an "easy" fix...
The problem is using an LED in the 3rd/high-mount brake light. Put a normal incandescent bulb there and... surprise... no more ABS/TSC warning lights.
You CAN use an LED in the 3rd brake light socket, but you have to connect a load resistor, too. This is what I did to resolve that issue when I converted to an all LED setup.
Sorry you had to spend money for this, but at least you got the new starter

yup there you go.. honestly if i knew the LEDs were causing my ABS and TCS to fail 
then of course i would have replaced them..i used a resistor for the turn signal but not the 3rd brake light..
i just thought something was wrong in the computer.. oh well..the LED look wasnt worth it anyways.. it was too dull on sunny days especially the turnsignals..

I've been told to NOT replace all 3 rear lights with LED's. For whatever reason it does trigger an ABS failure light if you replace both tails and the 3rd brake light.
How or why I am not sure.

I have all L.E.D. tails except for my reverse lights as of 3 days ago. It hasnt tripped my dsc or abs light on its own. I do notice if I push the dsc button to turn off traction control while im driving then, after parking the car for any length of time (like say at wal-mart) then comming back to start driving again my dsc and abs lights will stay on until i turn the car off and re-start again?
