Which key do I need?

Alright, so I have had my 8 for about 3 months now and I have been dealing with having just 1 key. The car only came with a single valet style key when I bought it. So of course I have the red key light on the dash and I cant open my trunk with the key and I have to manually unlock the doors. Now that I've saved up a bit of money I'd like to get a full key, but I'm trying to figure out which key I need. I have the buttons on the doors/trunk, so I'm thinking I should get the card style key. The dealership is probably gonna charge me an arm and a leg for it. I've seen them go online for a little over $200. Does the flip style key work too? They are much cheaper, although not as "cool". Also, what about the plug that goes in the key slot for starting the car with the smart key? My local dealership has not been particularly helpful with what I might need, so any help you guys can provide would be great.

you can do the flip key on any Rx8. the card key, i think can only be used on a car with that option on it from the factory, as there are a bunch of sensors and stuff that goes with it.
