Hey back here looking for help again guys.

2004 35k miles

In the last month my car has had 3 moments where it would not start. I turn the key, and as soon as the engine attempts to turnover everything shuts off. Gauges and radio become reset, I lose all my trip logs and radio presets. Attempting to turn the key again, nothing happens. Not even power will run through the vehicle.

I then exit the car, use my key to lock/unlock the car. Then get back in and 5 minutes later the car starts again. But i have to adjust the clock and all other settings.

This has happened on three separate and random occasions over the span of a month.

I should add that the DSC/TC light is solid after one of these occurrences but goes away the next time I fire up the engine.

 

Check the connections to your battery.
