Mine had a lot more than that at one time. They replaced the oil pan and it hasn't happened since.......will know better when it gets hotter at the track

you made a point there... I saw in a next tread, they did the same and the never got the problem back.. Hmmm

was it a deeper pan they installed.. if so do you have like a part number etc?

It has a horiz baffle in it that may prevent splashback?? Don't have the part # but I couild probably get it if you need it

Thank you for your input, if you can get that for me that would be great.

Please let me know when you take your car out in the hot weather / hard driving conditions if it still helped..

Spiceboy: I have the info for that dealership but remember that the master tech was actually from subaru. I'm sure he'd be helpful but I'll have to check to see if he knows if there's a master tech at the mazda service dpt.

(I still have his business card)
