installed lowering springs... Now i have an issue.

Before I start, I searched, tried the listed things, checked all connections are plugged in, nothing I can think of fixes my issue, Tried resetting the ECU as well, that did nothing.

I have a 2008 40th anniversary rx8. I recently installed some tanabe NF210 springs. immediately after first start up, i got an abs and tcs light on, and the cruise control doesn't work either.

I checked the things i unplugged, they were all plugged in. I reset the computer using the full left - full right steering method. I still have the lights on.

Anything else you need to know please let me know. I'll check in on this later.

Oh, and before i forget, car drives fine, but the ABS/TCS/Cruise Control Don't work.

Both The wheel speed sensors and the fuse are in good shape. The only thing i'm concluding is that they don't click when they latch on... maybe i can fix that.

explain exactly how you did the turn the wheel reset. how you described it is backwards. did you have the key to ACC and not to on?

Well I tried it both ways, The way i did it backwards was first, then the proper way, neither one worked. I'm assuming i have a bad connection somewhere down the line. I'll be taking it in to the dealer in a few days.

Hmm, well I just installed mine last weekend and had none of these problems. Had a friend help me and held the wheel hub so it didn't fall and pull the ABS line out.

My only thoughts are:

1) Maybe you forgot to unhook a line and dropped the hub
2) Your connections/sensors got dirty and need to be cleaned
3) You are in real bad need of a wheel alignment

Just throwing this out there too... any adjustments to the suspension usually mean you should go get a wheel alignment too for safe measure and even tire wear.

I know i'm gonna need the alignment, but money is tight atm. probably not my best idea to do springs right now but oh well.

I'll check on #2.

#1 would be very unlikely but possible, I'll look into it too.
