I win for loudest ticking noise. [video]

I don't know if this is related to my other thread regarding power problems. This started much earlier, so I think they're separate issues.

Anyways, I win this battle.

Video explanation, as it is dark - I'm inside the car after a short 2 minute warm-up. Then I hold the phone to the wheel well, the front bumper, and then I pop the hood for the whole experience.

sounds like some pumping noise and some ticking noise - neither of which you should hear - that can't be good and prop won't end well... take it to a dealer.

This is after replacing the plugs, but it still has the original coils. No aftermarket engine mods at all.

That ticking sounds like your SSV actuator is not working properly. Had the same sound coming from mine last summer...ended up being a bad SSV actuator, replaced and the sound went away. If it's not that make sure all your plug wires are connected fully, could be a plug wire arcing.

Oh and my ticking was way louder than yours.

I agree with the last post check the components of your ssv actuator which you can manually operate while the car is running, on the auto anyway. It makes the car "sound like a diesel" if it rattles. My car has exact sound and when I hold it or manually operate it, it stops.

Hope this helps.
