I had to jump start it this morning, find the culprit...
I did all of these things differently last night; in the morning, the battery was drained. Which one caused it?
a) Left windows and sunroof open
b) It was cold (Southern California "cold", not real cold like in the NE)
c) Left my cellphone charger plugged
d) I didn't return the wiper lever to off, just shut off the engine
e) I left the smart key card thing inside the car
f) All of the above
g) None of the above
Note: I did a quick search and found that this happens sometimes when the trunk is not properly closed and the light remains on. This was not the case, I checked it.

ha yeah, mine was a verizon car charger for a droid. It could be the type of charger if it keeps sucking energy even when the car is shut off. Mines been plugged in for the past week and i havent had any problems.

Yeah its a weak battery, none of those things you mentioned would drain your battery. The socket where you had your cell phone charger has no power to it when the car is off. Did you happen to double check your trunk and make sure it was closed? Also how old is your battery? Is it free from corrosion?

It's been 3 nights since it happened and it looks fine. If it happens again I'll just go and get a new one.
Thanks.
