HELP!! power steering/dsc and traction light are on!!

So i took out my head unit and i hardwired my valentine 1 radar detector and Omnifi the v1 is up and running and the Omnifi is all connected but needs to be solder... now my issue is after i put my consol back together and my HU my cars light for dsc, and the picture of the car swerving is on(the one that goes on when the dsc lights up) also the triangle with the steering wheel in the middle with an ! through it.. my guess is thats the power steering since i can barely turn the wheel... when i installed everything my battery was disconnected... i cant seem to figure out what would have cause this? also when i turn off the car it makes awhining noise? and sound like fans turn off and a clunk type noise... can anyone help me?!?? i need to drive my car its been a week since i drove it last and its driving me insane....

well, at least part of your problem is that if you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the DSC light will be on until you start the car and turn the wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right (or maybe its right-left... can't remember)

Kind of what rOtor said, but read page 5-22 in your owner's manual for the instructions on correcting this "problem". You don't start the car to do this operation, BTW.

When you disconnect the battery did u unplug any other connectors? Check the following, it may help:
There is a plug goes from the EPS control module to the battery positive terminal. It is a black plug which should plug to the bottom of the EPS 60A fuse right on the battery positive main cable.
There is also a white plug which goes from the EPS control module to the negative terminal of the battery. Those plugs were hiding underneath the battery box so I missed them when I replace my engine.

ok just did the steering wheel thing and the dsc light went off...

the light that im seeing, am i correct that it is for power steering? could it be the steering wheel fluid? (if there is, im not knowledgable with cars...) what are the possible causes for this to happend? i dont get how anything dealing with the HU and the map lights have to do with the power steering... the only wire i messed around was the map light which i use the V1 clip that they provided... im in dying need to drive my car... im sick of driving my sisters auto bug...

ps i also have subs amp and cap is that makes a difference...

once again when i revved my car started to shake a bit, the fumes smelled TERRIBLE (high flow cat and greddy exhaust) usually they smell but i noticed it was a different scent.. When i turn off my car i hear the engine whining down for like 2 seconds (sounds like a fan) and then like 3 clicks that sound like something is powering off

lastly i have the pie to the HU and the omnifi connected to the pie... the wires are not solder yet and are loose... incase that might factor in... i cant think of anything else i had done....

did you check the connectors i mentioned, they are in the engine compartment, next to the battery. if you had the steering wheel light on (with the "!" next to the steering wheel light), then you are having power steering problem. our car has a electronic power steering system (EPS). So go and check those plug and also the EPS 60A fuse on the positvie terminal battery cable.

what about the black plug under the eps 60a fuse? there should be 2 black cables going into the 60a fuse block.

Are you refering to the following wires that I mentoned in previous post?

"There is a plug goes from the EPS control module to the battery positive terminal. It is a black plug which should plug to the bottom of the EPS 60A fuse right on the battery positive main cable.
There is also a white plug which goes from the EPS control module to the negative terminal of the battery. Those plugs were hiding underneath the battery box so I missed them when I replace my engine."
