AU Help (Engine won't turn over, not seized)

Hey all, My gf just purchased a Rx8 and only had it for a couple days.. Its an 2004 Manuel..

After two days the car wont turn on at all..

Its been in the mechanics for 2 weeks now and they still haven't fixed it

Ok so its not turning over but wasn't getting a spark so we check it if it was flooded but its not..
The plugs have been changed and now put a new crank angle sensor on it and its sparking but not turning over..??

When it happened the car was driving and it just shut off like it was running out of fuel..

Any help would be amazing please help folks

Miles?

Make sure its getting fuel, if you are sure its getting spark.

If its not turning over check starter, make sure you can manually turn over the engine and that its not seized.

Might want to check compression if that doesn't work.

It done about 120 000 kilometres.. Which is about 74 564 Miles

Its been checked and its not seized but im pretty sure they have check the starter and the compression..

From what they where saying its a feed issue back from the crank sensor??

Perhaps a failed fuel pump? And if you are from New Zealand be VERY careful who you take your car to Id avoid anyone but rotary mechanics, but there's very few outside of Auckland and the Mazda dealers are complete morons.

Define sparking but not turning over...

It will not spark unless the crank is rotating. Does not turning over mean spinning, but not starting to run?

Do you smell gas at the tail pipe?

If you have spark and gas at the tail pipe the next thing is turning fast enough and computer can figure out how to make engine run. There are things in the $100 thread below that will help the computer figure stuff out (clean MAF, grounds, ...). Then reset (20 stomps on brake pedal right after key on, search for that one), and give it a try.

If the mechanics have been trying to start it over and over with no joy, it may be flooded.
Turning over-motor spins but does not fire
Turn on-switch the key on
Start- turn key to start, motor turns over, motor starts

It has got fuel in the tank and fuel pressure ?
