Heater Issues

It's that time of year, you know, when in accordance with Murphy's Law, the heater decides to break. Well, not exactly break. I'm a college student, and I store my 8 for about a month at a time in an unheated facility. Last time I had it out was Thanksgiving, and the heater would just blow cold air no matter the setting. After a day or two of this, functionality came back and it started blowing warm again. Now I'm home for Christmas, and the same thing has happened again. It blew nothing but cold air for about 24 hours until after being driven about 40 miles straight it finally warmed up. I checked the fuses and the wiring harness at the radio, and they were all fine. What's going on here? Is it just symptom of the storage, or something else?

You do know that the car has to be in normal Operating Temp in order for the heat to work right ?

Or it could be the Temp **** broke, it happened to me once, they replaced the whole HVAC unit.

if your car is still in warranty, bring it in. you have to tell them that the ****** is not working, sometimes hot air, sometimes nothing.

Apparently you haven't searched. This has been discussed to death. In fact several new threads in the past 30 days. Advanced search, title only, all forums, "heater".
