Also not sure if anyone is up on compression levels but here is how it scored:
115.70, 122.67, 119.91 @ 273rpm
122.67, 133.25, 128.61 @ 273rpm

I was told that anything over 125 is considered high due to carbon deposits reducing volume.

The power band doesn't really start until about 4k. 3k and below the engine is smooth and not terribly peppy. Considering you have an automatic, that makes it even more gutless since you can't really rev the engine to the upper limits of the rev band where all the power is.

Carbon buildup is a common problem, especially on the autos since you can't rev the engine high enough, long enough.

Sounds like you could use a Seafoam treatment.

Maybe some additive like FP Plus with each fill up couldn't hurt either.

Ummmm you need to calculated for a 250 rpm crank rate and I've never heard of carbon build up of that amount that would cause an increase in compression.

I call BS on that ...

I dunno that is what they told me. They said there is a chart they have or something and you calculate it based of the crank rate and that they used 273.

I'd also like to note for future readers that the creaking noise I refered to earlier was definetly predetonation! After getting the car tuned up properly and running several tanks of premium through it I tried to be a tight *** and go back to regular 87. Immediatly again under high rpms I got the noise and now that Im back to 92 its gone. So yea not good for motor atleast in my case to run regular. ie k&n and highflow cat. Spark plug wires made the most difference for me currently running solid 8-9 second 0-60s. Car still has too much vibration at when in drive at a stop though and the motor mounts are sound. Freakin raddles my side mirror.
