Sometimes (not all the time?) my car will grind into 3rd only when I am in high rpm's? At first I thought I was just letting the clutch out to soon but I have repeated the same thing over and over again and still the same grinding even when I push the clutch in completly and not let it out, and it will just grind until I stop trying to shift into 3rd, it will not even let me into 3rd. if I take it to the dealer they will probably have to produce the same efect I am talking about, but what if they can not? what should I do? And also I just installed the borla exauhst system on my car, will they try to blame it on this? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

 

The only date I saw on the sticker is 05/03

 

Someone told me that it might just be new and needs to be broken in, it has 10k on it, could this just be the problem.
