Getting no spark on rotor #2 -- not bad coils!

If you swap the coils from the good rotor and put them on the bad rotor do you get spark? How are you verifying this?

Yes guys i swaped in the coils

I swapped in the coils, and still no spark i guess its rebuild time?? I just got my 8 seemed like a perfect runner and it died on me 2 weeks after purchase too bad i hadn't enjoyed it yet and looking for any 8 parts from where I'm from (Zimbabwe) is like looking for a unicorn ..

You didn’t mention your ignition coil; have you tested that? Also, is it both plugs on #2 that aren’t firing?
Yes both plugs they are just coming out wet i noticed a bit of shrapnel on the leading today

Hmm. Not getting spark is an ignition problem, not an engine problem.

Yes yes yes coils and HT leads still no spark

So if my apex seals are broken spark plugs shouldn't be coming out wet, right???

How are you testing for spark? It almost sounds like you’re assuming that you don’t “have spark” because the engine isn’t running correctly, or the plugs are wet.

I am earthing the second rotor plugs on the body whilst cracking

Have you tested the wires as well?

Good to eliminate all the easy possibilities before you have to do something more difficult.

Your engine has nothing to do with the car not getting sparks.
