gauge wireing issue

hey guys im stumped. installed a rb gauge pod with prosport digital gauges(electric). i followed threads, rb install instructions and prosports wiring. heres my issue the gauges only work with the parking/headlights on. the power harness for the gauges has four wires. red-constant to room fuse, black-ground, orange-to red ashtray light, white-white ashtray light. idk what im doing wrong. any help would be great. thanks

white is your ignition wire, it should be attached to the cigarette lighter fuse, the orange goes to the light on the cig lighter (or the light in the glove box)

no.

I suggest you take the red wire down to the ROOM fuse which you state you did.
Run the white along with the red wire, but instead of going to ROOM fuse go to CIG fuse
Take orange and run it down to the hot side of the light on the lighter (red wire)

np, I actually used the light in the glove compartment as the dimmer, just incase you want to try that.
