ok guys the problem is back and its really starting to be a pain in the A**!!! I noticed that it only happens on hot days, i drove it today which was about 75 to 80 degrees and didnt have a problem, i drove it yesterdey that was 90 degrees and it just lowere to zero RPMS and shutted off! I also noticed that at idle the RPM niddle it below the 1000 RPM mark, hope i dont get the same problem as LOTZIK! at least right now i havent expirienced any HP loss yet, but im getting tired of my car to keep stalling like crazy almost everyday!!

sounds like the fuel pump. But, it can also be the wires feeding it, or the connections. I had one EXACTLY the same a while back in different car. The problem was the fuel pump wire was run under the seat, the weight from left turns would pinch the wire....car would limp around for a while. I would shut it off, get out of car, come back and it would be fine. When the car was full of fuel it rarely did it, I guess the gravity of the fuel forced it through when it needed it.

Your local autozone can check codes free.

well when it does stall the car wont want to turn on but after a few trys ill will run normal for a lil while! Today i drow it all day and didnt have a problem, im guessing it could be the fuel pump since it doest use a fuel filter a gets clogged, i had my car stall i few days back and i had about a quarter of gas in my tank and barely made it to the gas station and put about more od a quarter of gas and the stalling problem went away for THAT DAY!! Ima try autozone and see what they tell me! Thanks outkast187 for the info!!

Well funny story, i guess the previous owner used the manuel alot or something that it looks like a ancient book, all the pages fell apart and the words are not readable! Im take a look at the manual online better! Anyways the car was purchased in 2004 so i dont think its still under warranty! My bumper to bumper warranty ended a few months back so it ended with the powertrain! hahahaha funny vid, just saw 2sec of it and got bord! Thanks for the help swoope!
yes,

you should watch the whole thing and then read what is given you.. if you have a 04 you have a 5 yr 60 k warranty on the powertrain.

how simple is that.. take it to a mazda dealer. simple..

while it it there all the recalls will be updated.

beers

The pump is cheap, 130 something bux, add a gasket to the bill too. 40 bux I think?

with the right tool, you can do it urself. the hardest part is to take the stupid Fuel pump cap off. thats when u need the "right" tool. Dont even try to get it off by bare hands unless u have superman kind of strength.

Well thats what i was gonna replace but my nissan dealer says everything checks out fine which i drove my car to the dealer and didnt stall or nuttin! I had a good feeling it was gonna be the fuel pump or coils! I told them it only happens on hot days and they kept my 8 over night since tomorrow is gona be 90 degrees and their gonna test drive it to see if the stalling comes back ! My RPMs when the car is in a complete stop its below the 1000 RPM mark which that didnt do before, is that normal? Ive seen my car always hit 1000 RPMs when the car is at a complete stop!I told the nissan service guy about my consern and he said it was normal which i think its not, just cuz their nissan cars REV below 1000k doesnt mean the 8 has to be below idle too, which is normal for many cars but rotary are high reving engines and need extra gas to keep the engine going! So far my cost is 116.00 for the diagnose which nissan has done SH**! What a RIP!!!

ur idle suppose to be like 850~ish rpm. so going below 1000 rpm is perfectly normal. but if it go below 700 rpm when AC is off, you might have a problem with your engine.

What did you expect a guy working at nissan will do to your Mazda car anyway ?

if u think is the pump, then try to replace the pump urself. like I said, the price that u paid for "diagnose only" already cost 2/3 of the pump + gasket. (tool u can fab one at a local welder)

Well i have nissan warrenty and the fuel pump is covered under der warrenty and they soposely checked it and its all fine, i have a 100 dollar deductable from them if anything is wrong withe my car, the fuel pump cost about 200 from mazda! Thats why i desided 2 go 2 nissan since i had to pay only a deductable for any repairs!

I hate NY cuz the roads here are garbage :P

U cant really blame the Nissan tech, they probably never ever worked on a Mazda car b4.

good luck
