Fan only works on two and three

I have searched for a while without any luck. My fan control will not work on level one and consequently the aircon won't turn on until the fan works in two or three.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Could it be bad solders like on the heater controls?

I'd start with checking the fan switch and resistor; http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/2003mazdarx8/

Great help! The manual should definitely help diagnose the problem.

I already checked the resistor and everything checked out normal.

Thanks

Each fan setting has it's own dedicated relay and that may be the issue, #1 and #2 are 4 terminal relays and #3 is a 5 terminal, there is a relay troubleshooting section in Body & Accessories/Power Systems, but the electrical service manual is a good tool to have

swapping #1 and #2 might get you the quick answer

Swapping sounds like the quickest and easiest to start with. Thanks, Mark,I'll give it a shot.
