Exclamation f**k, my car won't start

bought my car second hand, have had no dramas till about three months ago! try to drive my car one day and it wouldn't start! no dramas there, got it towed to the garage, they checked it out!

"probleme, your getting no copression in one of the ratary chambers, you'll need a complete new engine!"

????is that fact or fiction????

normally it should be covered by the waranty!

"2nd probleme, after informing the waranty company, they went bankrupt!"

wont to take matters in to my own hand now! know a fair bit about engines, but not much about ratary engines!

so if there anyone out there who can give me any info, tips or tricks, about how to break down the engine to change the seals then i would be very greatfull!

and i'm sure if you should need help, i would be fully obliged to help you aswell!

cheers jonesyrx8

Best bet is to either buy a rebuilt from Mazmart.....phone Paul or Will

Or buy a good -low mile engine from an auto wreckers and swap it out

I just bought one for a bit over 2K..

Trying to do a rebuild will cost you that much in seals and gaskets etc.....and you probably have more expensive problems than that

I'm pretty sure mazda is still in business

low compression in a rotor can cause non starting issues. thats no lie. everything else sounds like BS to me though

First off, Stop going online, Quit all Computer stuff, Quit driving your car, go BACK TO SCHOOL AND RELEARN YOUR SPELLING PLEASE !

I have a hard time understanding your *Ratary* stuff.

When you're done with school, please check your VIN with Mazda to see if you're still in Warranty. If yes, tow it to Mazda, if not, Tell us your location, theres not that many garage out there knows what a *Rotary Engine* is. They probably have no idea how to do a *proper* compression test.

if you need to ask, you CANNOT do it yourself.

let the shops handle it. you gonna end up doing more damage.

@ razz1

i've already tried going down that road but mazda germany say "no", i should have extended the warranty before it expired! **** happens! but saying that, because i bought the car second hand i was covered by a secondary warranty contract, which went bankrupt at the time when i put my claim in to them! dobble **** happens! :-)

oh by the way it is a five speed manual transmission! you cant get them here in europe with an AT

its got 60000kms on the clock thats roughly 36000 miles

You got an e-***** right there ~

Fixing cars? You mean replacing parts ?

Woo I can replace a light bulb when I was 4 ~~~~

If you are all that *1337*, this post wouldnt even exist.

and self confidence is important, but when it comes to something like this. You need knowledge. which is something you clearly lack of.

if u're all that knowledgeable, theres a FOR GOD'S SAKE SEARCH Button right on top of the site. Are you too smart to search or something ?

sitting here and swearing wont get you anywhere. Try harder, Smart guy.

step 2: open hood
step 3: stick head under hood
step 4: close hood
step 5: open hood
step 6: repeat steps 4 and 5 as necessary

reverse steps to reassemble.
