Engine taking a while to start?

Found this a while ago. I wanted to remove the link from my bookmarks, but keep it around for everyone's reference.

The question in the title has been answered many times before I'm sure, but here it is again lol.

2004 model rx8's had problems with flooding. The starter didn't always turn fast enough to get the fireing cycle going- so slow starts, excess fuel in engine, and trouble starting. Solution: Replace battery with a higher cca power rating and replace the starter with updated one.

Starter prod #'s:
original:N3H1-18-400
then (1st revision):N3H1-18-400A
Finally (updated one that works well): N3Z1-18-400 ->quicker cranking->reduce flooding during startup

Battery: Optima red (used in the video) or other battery with higher cca than stock
*most parts places stock the original N3H1-18-400, just rebuilt

Video Link (WARNING @ 1:50 camera guy says s***), and its not my video either, credit to original poster Jon316 G on youtube, thanks for the visual and suditory proof :]
