Hi,

I've started noticing that my e-brake light is coming on when I brake hard.
The dsc and abs lights aren't doing anything, so it isn't a braking distribution problem or something of that nature.
I checked my brake/clutch fluid levels, and they're fine.

Last time I got my car checked up, they said my brake pads were getting low, could that cause this?

Another note: I noticed this winter (keeping in mind that I park in a heated garage) that when I parked overnight, often when I went to drive to work in the morning it felt like the parking brake stuck. Pulling away felt like someone put a couple small blocks infront of the rear tires and I had to drive over them. Don't know if that'd be related, it doesn't happen often anymore.
