the only thing worrying me now is that theres absolutely NO pressure when i push the clutch down, and theres nothing pushing it back out

and yeah dozer you need a clutch pedal bracket. hope you get this fixed soon

and i know this is dumb but make sure your cylinder didnt get pushed into the engine bay a bit.

 

 

GOT IT FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


we forgot to tighten the nuts last, thus the reason there was no there was no pressure to bring the clutch back out...but we did mess up the sensor to start the car when pushin the clutch down, i assume the heat from the welding fcked it up, but RENESIS SE3P found a way around that, now i dont have to push the clutch down to start my car...W00T W00T!!!!!!!!!!!

 

So, basically, the clutch switch is damaged due to the heat from welding, there are a bunch of melted pieces around it. I took the connector off, took a wire, and plugged it in. Now he don't have to buy a new switch and he can start the car JDM style yo!

 

here are some pics of my bracket, i cant believe mazda would sell the clutch assembly with ONLY 2 spot welds....cheap and cheasy, well i got that **** welded and reinforced on like 4 different spot
