alright cool, thanks for the input shady...my dads coming by around 6 with all the welding material...imma go home and take the pedal off and have it ready for him
ill let you all know how the install went, and maybe we can do some "preventative maintenance" on some of the socal guys. Seeing as to how this is a "common" problem

Ok, so I re-welded the clutch pedal bracket and I reassembled the clutch back into my car. The problem I'm facing with now is the piston. It has no feed-back, like, no pressure. I step on the clutch and it goes all the way down, the spring on the clutch pedal is working but the piston is not being pushed back up.
I push down on the clutch and I can't shift into gears now. The clutch won't come back up. Does this mean I have air in my clutch line? Do I have to bleed my clutch line?
If so, where is the bleeder valve for the clutch line?
I need help!
Thanks in advance.

I hope you're not having the same issue as I did.
There is no bleed valve on the clutch line, you need to bleed it at your slave cylinder, which is located right behind your oil filter/right above your transmission. yeah, its a bitch to reach that area.
Try to bleed your slave cylinder and see what happens, if you see any gray **** comes out, Bad news.
also if the rod is "loose" for no reason, and you're 100% positive that you adjust it right before. then your slave cylinder might be shot, but THATS not the real cause. It could be your clutch master ate your slave alive.
Im going to take my clutch master out tomorrow and see if my theory is correct.

Lift the clutch pedal back up by your hand. thats how you bleed it.
but I just have this feeling that your slave might be shot. Bleed it, and you will know if it is.
fuxk speed bleeder. those **** leaks eventually. and when you know it, it will be too late.

nycgps,
is a trail blazer..
he has had a new clutch issue that has not been seen before.
i have seen it on a couple of motorcycles where the cluch and transmission interact hence the dark fluid.
but really he must have a odd master cylinder that failed in a very odd way.
dozer. you have a broken clutch bracket.. correct?
the photo above was a broken bracket, but the circle was in the wrong place.
beers
