disengage clutch weird idle ..HELP

My car idles normal longs the clutch is engaged and then when i disengage it.The idle fluctuates between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 it just keeps going up and down as if im pushing in the gas and letting off. Ive been searching the forums for this problem but i just cant find it. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or not....

clutch disengaged switch is not working properly.... It's a $25 part so easy on the pocket book. Other clutch released switch is $10...even cheaper

If you can access a scan tool it will tell you if it is the clutch switch...if it is you can buy the switches and fix it yourself......no tools required. If you don't know for sure which one it is...and can't scan the code..you might be better letting the dealer have a look at it so you don't buy a part you don't need.

If it is the neutral switch on the tranny you will need to have the car up on jackstands or a hoist to get at it...
