Well if your car is fine after the swap, then you're good to go.

P0351 an P0353 stands for COIL CIRCUITS A & C.
if that was the case, i'd be asking my scan tool vendor why your not showing the rotor 1 and rotor 2 misfire CELs since obviously your car was misfiring...

The ecu has coil fault detection, it is OBDII mandated. Any code with a "0" before the 3 digit code is mandated like a P0353... There can be a fault that is not detected by that moniter and still be a fault and not set a light. The MIL or as you guys call it the CEL codes only point you in the location to start looking for the problem.

but if he has Coil failure, he should see misfire as well (or even before his coil were dead)

thats the part Im wondering.

not always, remember there are 2 plugs that fire. There might be light spark but no mis-fire

I had the same codes, but it was because i had got water in the bottom 2 spark plug wires, and the connectors/tips of the spark plugs were corroded to hell.

That can make the PCM think an issue is with the coil

the codes are saying: COIL # CIRCUIT so it is correct that you had the same code for your wires.
I ve changed all 4 coils, 2 of them, 351,353 first and third were very burnt,,, the other two, had only the big white bullet but not the 5-6 small bullets which the burnt had.
After the swap, all are ok, no codes, and the engine goes smoother.
