Angry Coolant in the Air Intake...WTF..!

Hey everyone long time no speak.

So my girlfriend and I both have an rx8...mine is at 58K miles and running strong...no problems HAHA!

Not so good for my girl tho...she has only 35K miles and is already experiencing many problems with hers.

1st....her coolant light shows everyone once in a while

2nd....the light for the tire pressure continues to blink...the owners manual says that if the light comes on and stays on...its because tire pressure is low....if the light blinks constantly..then its a problem and take it to the dealership. Well dealership sort of blew this part off and said its no biggy.. ok whatever..

Now back to the coolant thing....about 2 weeks ago...she took it to the dealership for the light turning on...they said her coolant was low....therefore they filled it for her..and that was that. A week or so later...her light came back on again...so finally finally she got tired of it and took it to the dealership again...they fed her some bullsh*t and told her not to worry about it...before she was able to drive away her car began smoking up from the under the right side of the front hood.
Now the car had to stay overnight at the dealership so they can check to see what is causing this...the mechanic told me that he found coolant in the air intake...HOW THE HELL IS THIS POSSIBLE...?!?! I mean..I am not a huge car expert but I do know a few things about how to keep a car in good shape...and I really dont see how the coolant could have found its happy *** into the air intake...

Any feedback..?? Thanks a lot!

you need a new dealer. her car is under warranty. they should say theyll fix everything under the warranty. no other acceptable answer.

TPMS light could be because a sensors battery is dead, or it was damaged when you got new tires or rims. should be a warranty item.

the coolant light can be caused by a bad sensor. or low coolant.

im assuming you checked the coolant levels when the light came on and it was normal?

no idea about smoke from the engine...

i would be extremely hesitant to pay for anything...

well ummmm the little hose that connects to the throttle body is a coolant line.. could be that it went into the intake????

just my opinion.

highly unlikely - but it is a possibility and should be checked out .
