I have a used 09 R3 and ever since i bought it i have been getting that code on the sat radio... 02550592. Also with that i am having problems with the buttons on the radio sometimes won't work when i have the sat radio on.

Does anyone know what's going on. Plz help.

 

Also I am not paying for sat radio if that has anything to do with it. Or is it included free with the R3? When I got it the dealership didn't know. Also on a side note they had no idea that my car was an r3 and not a touring haha...saved me a couple thousands.

 

Maybe try unplugging and plugging back in the satellite radio unit to try to reset it? It's located behind the right rear trunk panel. It is a factory satellite radio I assume?

 

That is probably your radio id. If you subscribe to sat radio you need that number to link service from the radio to your paid account.

 

At first I though this too, but Sirius ID are actually 12 digits so don't think it could be.

Maybe an error code.
