Cool clutch wont engage entirely

what's going on rx 8 club first post here!!!

i just bought this car a week ago and since i bought her at 36k miles not a single issue. anyways i was driving the car the other night and i sped out to catch up with upcoming traffic and a couple miles down the street i noticed the clutch engaging lower and lower to the floor till eventually i came to a stop and me clutch no engaging all dee way.

immediately i figured clutch slave took a ****, but then i had my girl push the clutch in and i saw the slave actuation but not at the full travel it should. all in favor of clutch master say "I". unless the pedal fell out of adjustment somehow idk looked like the adjustment bolt was maxed out only a couple threads i could turn it :/

check your clutch pedal bracket. they are known to break. was the pedal squeeking? any side to side movement? i would rule this out first

First option is the clutch pedal assembly
Next possibility is air in the line
Next is the clutch or master slave cylinders
Next is all going to be inside bellhousing with some level of clutch disc failure.

yea i checked the bracket out this morning after reading up on what you just said and all still in tacked. and side to side id say maybe a little play(1cm) nothing more. but pedal noise id say i had some prior to the not working part. i could best explain it as sounding like it had a shaky off center push, like a little squeak you could say but more on the crackling side.
