Get under the steering wheel and look at the bracket.

It is broken.

Buy a new one.

Clutch pedal issue?

https://www.rx8club.com/race-roots-134/clutch-pedal-bracket-solutions-explanations-now-recall-194975/

Check this before anything else

Also
1. give a bit of history about the car
2. introduce yourself

Do a search on clutch issues and you'll see this is a typical symptom of either a broken bracket or a bad master or slave cylinder

If you get under your dash and have a look have at least one answer

Knowing model year or mileage would help
