Looks a lot cleaner than mine when I pulled it out haha. The best person to ask would probably be jon316, I think that's his user. He seems the most educated in this area.

Also how the hell did this get moved to this thread section? I know where I posted this and it wasn't here haha

Applying it just to the actuator lever won't do anything.
If anything... the area where the lever connects to the valve (which is secured by an e-clip) is where I would apply a film of grease since that lever has room to rotate and tap against the e-clip or other side.
I also apply a film of grease to the bushing... but obviously you'll need to remove the valve for that.
Might want to verify the actuator holds vacuum... this can cause chattering, but not at idle since the solenoid isn't on...

I just so happen to know of a DIY someone made for doing just that

Ok, thanks Jon316. I wanna say I recall another DIY you have that you or someone else mentioned to try putting one of the other solenoid valves on the SSV or maybe the other way around to see if its actually working ? Is that correct? I'm gonna try to get a video of mine on here later today.

Yeah.... you can swap the connections for the AIR and SSV solenoids.
AIR is the top solenoid and the SSV is the center.

Hey guys my Oz RX8 has this noisy SSV actuator also. Is it just a grease up fix or whole actuator needs replacing?
