blinking cel usually means misfire--might want to get the code read to make sure

change plugs, coils, and wires and that should take care of it

try this:

turn key to on position
push on the brake pedal as fast as you can, about 20 times
continue until you see the oil-p gauge needle sweep across

then take it for a spin

try the pedal thing first
it resets the e-shaft position sensor
it may solve your entire issue
its worked for me in the past

Make sure the spark plug wires are connected right IE;
1st coil 2nd coil 3rd coil 4th coil
Leading Trailing Leading Trailing

Also make sure the spark plug wires are on tight! if they dont make that pop sound they can come lose and you will not get a good spark=shutter rpm brake up ect.

Have your local autoparts store like autozone or checker ect check the code for you and tell us what the code is. Then we can go from there or tell you right off the bat whats wrong.

Hope that helps.

All you have to do is tap the pedal. i hope you are not trying to push it all the way in. Do it on ayour garage and look in the rearview. As long as you see the brake light lighting up you are hitting it hard enough. No need to press the pedal any harder.
