Hi All...

The CEL came on for the first time since I've had the 8. Check my sig for current details on the car.

I won't have a code reader until Friday so it's just guessing up until that point.

The light came on as soon as I started the car yesterday afternoon. It was sitting in my work parking lot for 8 hours or so.

When cold the idle seemed normal both in park and in gear. When it came up to operating temp the idle was slightly rough when in gear and stopped at a light. The morning I'm pretty sure I felt a mis or two.

There's no loss of power, no smoke, coolant is at normal level, engine oil was just changed and is clean.

Any guesses?

last time you changed plugs? last time you changed coils?

 

good question, I got it in december with no service records. I doubt they're original, but who knows how old.

I guess I'm probably due but I'd like to see what the code is first. Time for BHR kit!!!

 

I am betting you are getting a misfire code

 

We'll see... Does one simply change the plugs and wires first or do I need to do all the coils as well?

 

will do... do you guys sell stock wire and plug sets?

How many banks and sensors do we have? I am assuming only 1 bank and sensor 2 is the rear one
