I have just recently bought an 04 Mazda RX8, but can't pass smog because the previous owner thought it would be cool to hallow out the cat. So I been looking for a stock catalytic converter and it's way too expensive through the dealer. So if anyone has one laying around for sale or trying to get rid of it, just pm me and let me know.

Have you considered the fact that most people who gut their cat is because it is clogged? Thats what I would do if mine messed up.

Try to find one at your local junk yard, and it would be cheaper.
